I don't now about Husqvarna but most Stihl gaskets are right at 20-22 thou .The thickness of the cover National Geographic is around 15 thou .A sheet of printer paper is around 2 thou but some are thicker . I suppose you could goop it up with Permatex or red loctite but I never have .I have known a couple of those who thought they knew every thing goop up the head gaskets for engines with number 1 Permatex which is about like welding them in place .

Only problem is if I use a beer can tha means I would have to drink it first because there's no way I'm going to waste it.

If you use a Beer Can, I'd save up all the BGD projects until till you have 8 to do.
