Title says it all. Anyone running the 800p? or would it be worth it to pinch the pennies for a 461?

I would say they are in two different classes.

I have an older version of the 800p in yellow and it will out oil anything under the sun.

I just kinda went by ccs. I figured it was a decent saw but I really wish I could rent one before I buy. I know stihl won’t let me down but I haven’t ran newer echo stuff

That Echo chassis has been around a long time. The only thing that has changed over the years is the coil and head Iirc. That Echo is built like a tank and has more metal than any saw on the market. It's just a slower saw for the weight. Now a 620p might be a good one to look at too.
