Just as a rough idea will a ported 390xp cut aswell as a standard or ported 462 if so what about a standard or ported 660 or 661
I believe it was StephK87 that did a comparison between a ported 390XP, a ported 661-CM, and a ported 395XPG. The 390 and 661 were neck and neck and then the 395
came in and ate everyone's lunch.
We'll get you some glasses so you can see it clearly, especially with a 50" bar buried. I really can't see the Stihl oiling that much bar, but who knows.Don't see tot many 395's taking a TM 661's lunch money. They might sneak up from behind and draft for awhile though.

I feel like with real long bars the 395 takes a 661, especially with its oiling ability. 395 pisses oil.Don't see tot many 395's taking a TM 661's lunch money. They might sneak up from behind and draft for awhile though.
390 not 395 you all got distracted lol
Don - they're comparing a stock saw to a ported saw...er..for some reason. I missed it my first read, t0.
