I'm working on an older model 066 with the shallow air box cover, it has the two thin/domed filters. So I'm wanting to convert it over to the HD style filter and was hoping someone could provide me with what parts i need and or the part# needed to do such. I'm not interested in the aftermarket max flow setup though. Thank you

You sure it's a 066?
I believe you have a 064.
Pics?

On an 064 or early 066 you need a new filter base and air filter cover as well as the filter. Both of those pieces are NLA from Stihl for a long time and bring good money on Ebay, I snatch up every one I see.
On a later 066 you can swap over to the standard 660 parts that are plentiful and cheap. I haven't studied the changeover, so maybe all of the late model 066s already have the HD filter setup.

Would you happen to know the part numbers for the base and cover on the nla 066 hd filter setup? I'll just keep a close eye on ebay for them

Right, if you did there'd be a small snorkel that interfaces with the filter base plate.

You'd want the one without the port for the intellicarb. I've been meaning to get you the pn, I'll get you a PN in a couple of minutes.

image.jpeg image.jpeg 1122 124 3460.

The one you posted would work, you'd just want to plug the hole for the intellicarb.
