026 Pro modified airfilter & muffler mod

Then advance it. It will change the personality of the saw.

Be careful not to file too much off the flywheel key -- it will do just the opposite of what you want.

If you go too much just get a new key. It should not be cast in the flywheel if I am remembering correctly.

They have a separate key, about 1/3 the width is about what they can stand, some won`t work correctly/ timing advanced too far with just 1/3 advance. Depends on the module, some will take a bit more than another. The built in trigger chip can vary a good amount.

The woodruff key is replaceable, yes.

I've never done a 026, but .020 off a 440/460/660 key is usually about 6*, enough to make a difference, but not get you in trouble!
