I've got two WJ 140 carbs on the bench with low circuit issues. I've ruled out the solenoid and electronic bits. It's definitely in the body of the carb. No obvious blockage and the gaskets and diaphragms are in good shape. The rest of the saw is a fresh rebuild. Pressure and vac test...

I just picked up a bunch of NLA parts from a local dealer. I listed them on fleabay. There are multiple listings.
Hope this isn’t too shameless. If I’m out of line mods, please take this down.
Thanks Rich
I’ve let a few of the early 046’s go over the years. All three times I had sellers remorse. I’ve been collecting some of the pieces to put one back together. I’ll try my best to make this a progressive build and be as true to the “legend” as my parts will allow. So I think it’s time for a build...
Husqvarna rep in today. New saw, new battery. These run the new X battery. BLI200x and BLI300x. Better Venting and fan assist cooling. The regular battery will work but are said to be prone to overheating.
Fresh build. Bone stock.
$1250 goods and services PayPal. I’ll cover the fee. You pay actual shipping of your choice.
Everything works as it should. Here’s the list of new OEM parts that I bought.
Piston and cylinder kit
Gasket set with seals
Bearings
Recoil cover
Shroud and air filter cover...
Like the title says I need an OEM top end. This saw has the thick base cylinder FWIW. Have some stuff to trade or strictly PP is fine as well.
Thanks, Rich
I’ll start. Some guys just have to put that extra quarter turn and this guy is probably extra half a turn. Yes, that’s a bar stud

If anyone hears about a “hot” deal on some saws let me or the company know. This is our Charlotte office. Stihl 201tc’s, ms661, 550xp’s, 562xp’s a demo 572xp (that belongs to Husqvarna) a 390xp and some 395’s. I have all the serial numbers...
A buddy of mine picked up a 10mm 044. He asked me about this saw. Told him that the red lever saws had better port timing, from what I’ve read on the internet. I also mentioned it may just be folk lore too. Lol. He called Stihl tech support and here’s what little they were able to tell him.

Brazil’s currency is waaaayy down. List price is still about $800 but with American currency, you’ve got real buying power. I’ve reached out to one of my customers. His wife is from Brazil. This may just be a pipe dream. I believe if it were easy we would have already seen some new 288’s for sale.
Anyone here spun or sharpened a loop of C83? First loop I Spun ruined the anvil on my spinner. I thought OK it's well used, I'll order a fresh one. OEM anvil shows up and I can hear the grinding noise again so I stop before I ruin another. I can only assume that because the rivets are a touch...
I caught the tail end of this when I turned on the TV this morning. I had to look it up and watch the whole episode. Thought I’d share this here. Very well produced. I’ve never been but that may change now.
Who’s going out or town for the week of the 4th and have already checked the local Craigslist etc.....for saws ;)
Kathy and are headed to Venice Fla for the week at a friend of the family’s house. I’ll go first...” my name is Rich and I have a problem “
Just did a 285 Bosch to SEM coil and flywheel swap. I'm still in need of a three dawg recoil pulley (rope spool). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Rich
