The worm gear doesn’t look good. Time to replace it. I don’t think the tab, or lack of is the issue here.

So it looks like the CS-7310PW will have a 3/4 wrap handle. Unfortunately for the guys that have half wraps and want the 3/4 it will be pricey.

Been busy setting up large orders for customers. Haven’t had much time to fix broken equipment.

You need a limiter cap removal tool from echo. Part number is 91157 I believe. I think it’s the same tool for the cs 4510.

I voted 550mk2. I had another one on my bench today. 2019 build date. Same issues I’ve seen on other 550’s. Flywheel side bearing fails and takes out the crank seal. There is a mark 2 service bulletin on the issue. The air filters also do a nice job of letting debris inside.

Had a husqvarna 440 and the customer’s complaint was that it would stall when the chain brake was engaged. I took the clutch cover off and found a broken clutch spring, clutch bearing melted into the worm gear, and the oil pump was trashed. Also leaked oil so new oiler hose will be installed...
