Why doesn’t the carb work? I thought all you had to do was put the impulse nipple on it that is in the kit

I bought the saw three years ago and the fuel tank was cracked so I plastic welded it and put a plate on the bottom of it. I have used it with no problems. Just selling it because it sits because I have a couple 372’s ported by a member here. $300 obo plus shipping PHO

I have read that some people have changed out the rubber buffers in a 181 for spring. I am curious if they are from a 288 and if it helps the vibes enough to change them out or not.
