Looking for a multi use by saw

I have most bases covered for tree work saws from 14 inch bars on 200 t's up to a 32 for my 441 ,for occasional use, with many other options in between. But I've been turning down a lot of work lately that I just don't have the saw power or bar size for, I'm looking for a saw that will wear a...

    Mods for t540xp????

We are getting a lot of these as replacements at work as the 200t's are wearing out. Anything to be done about the hot start issues, or oiling problems we keep seeing? Something to make them usable if not good? I'm a pretty laidback guy and even I've chucked one of these out of the bucket, gets...

Does an ms390 Rom carb have enough adjustment to handle a mild uneducated porting job and a well thought out muffler mod?

    Lists

Maybe it's obvious but, what's with the saw lists below everyone's handle? It's got me curious, just bragging rights?

    Retired 365 special, worth restoring?

Just got a tree service retired 365, it was a great saw for a while 3/4 years ago but it's been sitting in a saw box for at least a year and a half. Crew gave it to the boss for red tag issues that they haven't got parts to fix and he asked me if I wanted it for scrap. I haven't tried starting...
