So what did you buy today

I don't have a clue what your getting at, and I'm not sure you do either. Have a good evening, and enjoy your boat anchors. I'm out.

So what did you buy today

About 3 days ago. My old set were S-K brand, which were made in the USA, but they moved to China.

So what did you buy today

You didn't specify saws, you said equipment. I wouldn't give you $5 for ANY American made saw, it's all antique *s-word.

So what did you buy today

If you're referring to me, that's incorrect, I ignore a lot of foreign made hand tools and spend the extra coin on American made stuff whenever it's practical, despite the extra cost. I am not a collector of any sorts however, so I tend to spend my money on equipment that was built in this century.

So what did you buy today

I wouldn't give you ten bucks for that whole pile. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

So what did you buy today

Agreed. If it was worth more, somebody would have bid higher and bubble-wrapped everything for the trip home.

    College football ball busting

    I say yes.

    Rivet nut tool?

The one we have at work is a Marson. It has served us well over the years, but you must make sure you set it up correctly and never double clutch it.

    Miller wire welder

6 Looks like my welder. It runs nice on heavier material, but I'd trade it in a heartbeat for the 210 Miller I had previously.

    Hand-Filing Husqvarna X-Cut Chain

My filing skills are nothing extraordinary, but if I touch it up when needed and keep the rakers set where they need to be I don't notice much difference between the factory grind and round filed with a 7/32".

Echo 7310 vs Husky 572 vs Stihl 462

    Absolutely.

Echo 7310 vs Husky 572 vs Stihl 462

Agreed, 100%. A lot of city folk have migrated into my neighborhood recently who consider themselves "off grid" simply because they have enough space to grow a garden and raise a half-dozen chickens. The reality is, we haven't been "snowed in" here in ten years, we heat with natural gas and I...

Firewood thread!!! Let's see what you got!!!!

Same thing here, Sugar Maple is the dominant native here and it is excellent firewood. Transplants like Silver, Norway and Red are nowhere near as good.

Firewood thread!!! Let's see what you got!!!!

OOF. It's headed our way, but I don't think we're getting anything that crazy,

Looks like you weather has improved a bit. 😉😉

Firewood thread!!! Let's see what you got!!!!

Not to mention how rough it is on equipment. Most everything I cut is in a fairly crowded woodlot and it takes a toll on trucks, tractors, trailers and atv's.

    The official OPE daycare thread

Works for me, the Regular Show reruns are getting kinda predictable.

    Winter's over.

We had a few decent snowfalls, but it never went below zero here, and we barely had enough safe ice to go ice fishing. With that being said, I've been buried alive too many times in April to turn my back on mother nature. My snowblower will be at the ready for at awhile yet.

    Somebody Owes Me Some Money

Guess I'm not the only one. The last batch of files I bought were Husky and they've been pretty decent. Stahl's chain prices are tough to beat if you're looking for Oregon stuff.
