First pics are my Husqvarna 555 and second 2 pictures are my Dolmar 5105H. Greased both a little between the air horn and filter groove and that took care of any fines getting through. Evidently some of the dimensions on these surfaces vary a lot because I've had very few problems with fines getting in and none since the grease.

Not bad under the filter. This saw is used by the local lumber yard on kiln dried pine only, but they don't bother to do any maintenance themselves.

For what it's worth, MS290.
