If you put a 24" bar on a 60cc saw is what this 462 feels like with a standard 28" bar.

Yep...kinda where I'm at. I've got a couple and they are more than enough. The only saws that interest me anymore are 50cc class saws, and its cuz they small.

Sounds like the MS500i will be in Canada soon. Heard a Ontario Stihl dealer got schooled last week on the new 500i.

I wonder if stiffer springs are an option or will be for the 462 like other saws. Even the rubber mounts had soft/firm/hard options if you dug up the part no's & could convince your dealer such parts existed. The new light bars are a game changer for weight/handling especially Stihl's light bars. Everyone seems to like em.
