Nice! Does any of the by product get used for fertilizer?
As of now no,but construction starts next month for that expansion. Still be 2-3 years before its complete. Then 95 percent of it will be sold as fertilizer

Got ya. I live close to the chit plant here and before the EPA came to town I think most of it was hitting the river. Now about a week a month they'll have dump truck parade rolling out of there.

This plant has been hauling to the landfill for about 15 years now. Before that they used to put it back into the ground around the plant by spreading and plowing it in. This expansion is supposed to put us back into the more up to date column so to speak.

Nothing like replacing a torque converter for a shudder issue in a truck with 10k miles.

17 GMC canyon, 8 speed.
Getting the starter out to access the torque converter bolts is about as much fun as sticking your wang in a revolving door.

Crotch rocket bikes ain't much better. Everything is compact to the extreme. Most times a simple spark plug change isn't so simple. Bunch of models you can't get the valve cover off to check valves without lowering the motor.

The old Cadillac Northstar right there.
I loved working on those pigs.
Everyone was scared, but they sure paid my bills for a while!

Now, my bills get paid by the 2.4.
In my opinion, the best engine GM ever made. Easy to work on, always broken.
This one got what I call the 100k tune up. Pistons, rings, and chains. Also needed a catalytic converter and exhaust manifold.

I agree, many bikes are as bad or worse than most cars are for space to work.

I love those 2.4 ecotecs too for the same reason.
How many OCV solenoids do you do daily on those?

Dodge Caravans have always been job security on 4 wheels too!

Can you do piston and rings without removing the block?
