I've been in this one three times so far....and, like Scott says, I'll be cutting some off the base at some point. Just ain't seeing a good way to drop it too much. Intake port is small, and low already. Not much room to raise the roof of it much without cutting into the strato passages.

Hell, I took it all apart once and mapped it, then put it back together stock to run some more fuel thru it.

only 3 times? slacker lol

Does it matter to cookie cutters on the weekends?

You bet, ounce here and ounce there, they all ad up.

I once read a post on this site from a member, that he left the exhaust heat shield off of his ms440 to save a ounce, and that he could feel the difference in balance....

16 ounces in a pound....just bolt three bolts to the cylinder...leave one bar not off...only run one dog...an never I mean never fill up you gas an oil all the way, it will kill balance....plus how else do you get a break? And chain...new chain is way to heavy, only chain with one sharpening left....oh ya and bars....you can’t run a brand new bar unless you grind all the paint off! Lol jk!

I only see the Hooskie and Dolkita guys using their saws to cut cookies on weekends.
The rest of the week they fix them. LMAO
Thankfully I can buy a 462 because I nearly broke my arm with a 440, knocked unconscious by a 461 and nearly died picking up a 441. Lol

The first thing I’m gonna do to the 462 is put big dogs, wrap handle, west coast clutch cover, scrench holder, fast tach and skid plate on the bottom and complain about how heavy other saws are... even though I added 2.5 lbs to the saw. Lol
