Both mine and the wife's trucks have been running BF Goodrich All-Terrain TA's for years.
The first time I went to purchase tires for one of the trucks I knew I wanted an on-off-road tire but it had to be quiet, good heat rating, good load rating, and high speed capable.
It is not uncommon for either of these trucks to do 85 on long trips with the cruise on.
These tires have proven themselves over and over again both on and off road.
Her truck is 2 wheel drive and never been stuck.
Mine is 4X4 and has gotten in and out of area's others would not go...

How many miles you normally get out of a set of all terranes? Im gonna be tire shopping mabe end of this year unless i make it through this winter then next year. I got just shy of
140 000 kms on the factory tires now and still have decent tred still.

Good year wrangler dura trac is what we run on our service trucks. My truck usually weighs 14,000 and sometimes more. That says a lot seeing as I've never blown one out. I've got 60,000 out of a set, but now I just get a new set every fall so I have good tires for the winter. Which is usually 40,000 - 45,000 miles

The first set I got 75,000 miles out of them.
I do have the tires rotated every other oil change and the dealer does the rotation for free because we got them thru them.
Rotation helps them last longer.

I really liked mine. I kind of wish I had kept it. It had 318,000 miles on it when I got my '07. Which now has almost as many miles.

Yous drive a lot and stuff.

I had a '70 K5 for a number of years, when I was much younger. To keep it on topic with this thread, I was running 35" BFGoodrich A/T's with 5" of lift.

I would never have imagined you rolling in something like that.

+1 on the dura tracs great tire, spendy but a good tire. BFG AT's are good as well but here where it gets cold they flat spot bad until the tire warms up. No big deal just kinda annoying. Cooper's last pretty good but no winter grip compared to these two ^^^

Interesting read, different country, different cars, different tires.

It is nearly impossible to encounter those tires You guys use over here in Europe, they might be around but I've never seen them.

My post won't mean much to You guys but I'll leave it here anyways.

My and my parents summer tires, I have mounted them to the cars yesterday.
Bridgestone B391 on my parents Ford Fiesta 1.25 16V/75HP, still factory OEM (on the left).
I got Continental ContiPremiumContact5 on my car, Dacia Logan 1.6MPI/86HP (on the right).

I switched to the Continental tires last year from 13 years old factory OEM tires, Montana M801, DOT3804.
A lot of life left in them, got never punctured, never lost any significant amount of pressure.
They just got too hard, felt unsafe in rain.

My car has a completely different behavior with the Conti tires, for the better.
I have only driven the Conti's one summer season, but they impressed me something indescribably - dry road they stick like super glue, wet road they don't mind at all either.

All tires pictured above are pure summer tires, tarmac only.

Today I finished storing the winter tire sets for the summer.
Both are M+S (mud & snow) rated, both brands are popular in Croatia.
My parents winter tires are Barum Polaris 2 (on the right), mine are Sava Eskimo S3+ (on the left).

A lot of people utilize the Sava Eskimo S3 as all season tires year round, but IMHO they are too soft for the summer heat we get here and I am guessing they will just wear out significantly faster than a good summer tire would.
Considering that I was on winter tires till yesterday I can say they sure grab on to dry hot tarmac!

Before cooper sold out and went to China or Japan, they were really good tires
