Thanks fellas. These saws aren't gonna win many races. Too many limiting factors. But the build quality is second to none.
Plus, no fingers were cut while working on it.

I do like the build quality, super nice wide power band

Gets a little better each time. Previous vids were 20" round chain. I put a 24" bar with a square chain on it and went to the other end of the log.

Grabbed a chain I filed for pine by accident out of my pile of stuff. Oops. Saw pulled it good for cutting a dry cured oak log. It’ll be good after another filing or two.

I think 25 degree side angle and not too sure about the rakers, maybe 40.

Wow. Ok. What does the 25 degree and 30 degree angles do to the chain when in wood? Is one more grabby than the other?
What is standard on the rakers? 30? 25?

I think 25 is standard raker and 25 degree is a bit more aggressive. Maybe some of the more experienced guys will chime in.

That was just a well used, stock chain.

Echo has really made some major advancements in performance recently. The 2511T, 4510, 2620, cs501p, and 620p are proof of that.
