Really cool and big. Looks to me like a boiler type stove with a custom made door. I bet that cranks out some heat.

The bar is in a historic brick building along the river that was once a loading/unloading dock for merchent ships dating back to the french and indian wars. That area of the bar is heated by that stove and it keeps it very comfortable even with 12' ceilings.

Really cool ornamentation on that stove though, and man that's some rugged exhaust piping to use companion flanges to make up the joints.

Good point Mel. Looks like high pressure piping found on a boat with thick flanges. Very heavy duty.

Here is my Quadrafire 7100. Third winter in the house since building. Couldn’t be happier. That last cold snap we had was another good test for her. Takes a couple hours to get the heat upstairs. It’s a center staircase colonial so it gets up there pretty well. .

This is right after i built mine last year. I was running it outdoors to cook the paint prior to taking it in the house. I am the guy that likes making things just because he can. the valves on te back are not for water, but for controlling the reburn air. after running it for one season, I have some mods to make to it so it will be coming out of the house this spring. I want to use bi-metalic strips to control both primary and secondary air flow. I also want to re-doe the bottom so that I can make a grate system that allows me to pull ash form the bottom.

Here's mine keeping my butt warm.
It's a 24" Xtrordinair that we installed when we built our house 20 years ago and is used to supplement the gas furnace
It saves me from 600-800 gal of propane a year.
