I order from my local Amish dealer and I've never waited more that a week or two. That's even with horse and buggy delivery.
Did u ask for some Amish butter, jelly, pickled garden items with delivery?!! :) They know how to do that canned stuff up right

for most things, jacks seems to have some really good prices. the downside, there is no real time inventory

parts tree seems to have better parts diagrams, but again, no real time inventory

e-replacement parts has real time inventory which is fairly accurate, but not as good of prices.

local dealers sometimes are best so as to not deal with shipping, but mine have very little inventory

Bob @ Ashokan Turf and Timber knows his stuff better than anyone I've met. if you are going to be buying a couple oem parts, call him, shoot the bull for a bit, and pay whatever he wants... its worth it...and he's reasonable anyway.

EBAY ... sometimes you can do really well on ebay, sometimes not. the biggest benefit to ebay is that if its on ebay, it probably IS in stock. unlike jacks which is a crapshoot

last jacks order ended up coming in 3 pieces. I was waiting for some stuff for a number of weeks, and called them and they noticed how long i was waiting. they shipped stuff separately without charging me extra.

Any reputable Husky dealer should be able to get parts in three days and not charge any extra for adding your order to their next one. Mine gives me 10% off most orders and 20% on larger ones when I piggy back with them. No hold up if a part is backordered or needs to come from a different distributor than our normal regional source. That can add an additional 4 or 5 days if from the west coast. And for the most part, your basic area dealers don't stock the type of inventory folks like us typically need aside from wearable items for homeowner products..., unless of course their customer base consists of enough tree service/timber professionals to warrant the extra inventory to support the daily repair and rebuild needs of that type of clientele.

Plus, you get what you pay for..., which includes prompt and professional service -- at the counter, over the phone, or in the distribution chain. I'm lucky to have a decent and fair priced dealer in my area. Would certainly consider Ashokan if that weren't the case. Bob's reputation speaks for itself.

Most dealers will place an order once they have 250.00 to order as they get free shipping, some will order with less if you pay shipping. BOB (Spike60) is as good as it gets with husqvarna parts, one of the most knowledgeable people you can talk to, he has helped me out of a few jams.

I buy all Husky saws and topend kits from Bob. I never asked him, but was under the impression that he wasn't really in the business of supplying small parts. I could be wrong. Also, it's WAY easier for me to order online.

There isn't much in the way of Husky dealers around here. The one we do have isn't really convenient for me. I just prefer to have it shipped.

I've gotten a lot of small parts from him as well as top ends and whole saws.

Strange Brad that you live in Ohio and have trouble getting parts since most of the parts for Husky get shipped from Ohio and North Carolina to my local dealers in PA, I usually get parts local when I can but if I have trouble Bob has helped me out.

100% of the dealers can't stock up alot inventory, nor can an internet shop.
If you're gone go cheap you just dont want any inventory holding on your cash.

If I lived in US, I would solely purchased my Husky parts from one local dealer (if I like him) or one of OPE's Husky dealers

Jack's does have good prices, but you will have a wait getting the parts. Wagnerwerks, that wouldn't happen to be, Britton Run Engine Shop would it?
