I really hope Randy can make it. I'd love to meet the guy after doing business with him & talking to him on the phone. Heck I'd like to meet all you guys after joining this forum. Lots of knowledge here's about saws as well as many other things. Feel like I've got a lot more in common with many here than with most people I rub shoulders with on a day to day basis!
I know what your saying. I don't do it every day so I typically stay with what I know. Just having someone looking over your shoulder that knows more and could pass you tip is extremely helpful. I don't have that opportunity. What cutting I do is on my own for meself or for others. I don't do a lot of falling for myself. Once you get the feel it's like riding a bike. I'd rather not fall off the bike when people are paying me to do a job.Randy, if you can make it, I'm sure a lot of us will help out with the cost.
Full Chisel, I'm sure a lot of it is practice. If you had to do it multiple times every day, after a while you are just bound to get better at it. Since I just do it occasionally, I know I will never match the skills of some of the masters, but I love watching it and learning from it.

I'd feel weird letting someone pay my way.
He said $650 for plane and room. I'd open my door to ya but im a little over 2 hrs away and only going to make one day.If it costs 650.00 for airfare....I probably can't afford to go.
Spoken like you have experience. Repped! They won't let you carry on a saw unless it's NIB.
By the way Mike my buddy Jim loves the 262 he bought from you. I know you got it in trade and passed it on but he's impressed with the saw.Randy Watson used to buy them a lot traveling.
I'm glad. I had 0 experience with a stock 262 and no time to play with it.By the way Mike my buddy Jim loves the 262 he bought from you. I know you got it in trade and passed it on but he's impressed with the saw.
