While we are talking about the building trades, any of you guys have a line on material like this?

It’s one of two filters on the heat exchanger in my HRV system

It looks exactly like green ScotchBrite but without the abrasive

The system is made in Kanuckistan (don’t start on me) and the only way I can source replacements is a case of dozens and dozens for over $300

I only need 2 extras because they are washable; I just want to be able to swap out clean dry ones and make a single trip down into the dungeon

It’s 5/16-3/8” thick and about 9”x12”

"non-woven filter media" sure seems to bring up a lot of listings for foam instead of non-woven media.

Not sure if this is the right thing, but price seems a bit better than $300.
Picture is a bit weak for judging the material, etc.
I didn't see a thickness mentioned, but other stuff in that ebay group seems to be labeled as an inch thick. Maybe this will get ya closer to what you're hunting?

P.S. you might find something in a janitorial supply? I'd look for the non-abrasive buffing pads and see if something would suffice.

Pretty much what I had heard

The tools themselves are amazing but there have been wayyyy too many issues with their batteries
Worked some with construction today, his flex saws all let all the smoke out. Not from the battery, came out the cooling holes.

Very much appreciated

FLEX cordless rotary, dual action, and direct driven polishers are very highly regarded and recommended in the automotive paint correction and detailing business and I’ve never heard a bad word about their batteries

kind of weird

I think a large part of the battery issues are in their newer “stacked lithium” battery packs

His saw was well used, and spent its life banging around in a construction box. Not the easiest life. Also,a sample size of one, is not to be used as a trend. Was just funny it happened when y'all were talking about them.

I have a history with Lowe's so I hate anything that is Lowe's exclusive but I also think it is dumb that Flex tools are black and gray- Makes them harder to see in the driveway and easier to get run over. Plus... why would you buy anything other than Milwaukee?
they just want you to pee in a cup
The girl at the DMV is into that stuff.

Detailers are dorks who can't use wrenches.

Well, if you’d quit trying to drive and pee in a cup at the same time you’d quit running over *s-wordt in your driveway

Just saying

Sometimes I have to take it easy like that too after feeling my back isn’t right.
I spent a few hours sawing up some 1x5 today, but that's the first "work" I've done in several days. I figured I'd be hurting again this evening, but I'm good to go.
