Caught a Possum in the backyard trap. Will take to the county park . Saw it the last few nights at the bird feeders. But it wouldn't go in the trap using dry cat food. Tried some peanut butter last night and was successful.

Good morning fellas. 59 to 79 today with increasing cloud cover.. Heading to church this morning and then heading out to bring home a free (but decent, not rotted) wooden swingset/playhouse for the boys. Needs a little TLC but it’s going to be a big improvement over the metal swingset we have now that’s falling apart.. After that I s’pose we’ll head to the inlaws camper and spend some time. The puppy waits as long as she can, and right now that is 10:30-5:30. As she grows older and her bladder gets larger, we ought to be able to sleep in until normal wakeup, which is 6:00. Considering she isn't even 5 months old, she is doing well.

maddie will be 15 june 15th ive had her since she was 7 weeks old she is deaf now

Morning slacker. Just got back to the vfw for 2 ceremonies at 2 different cemeteries today. Then off to a party with friends then have to be back to the vfw around 830 tomorrow for 2 more ceremonies. Thank you veterans and still active members.

Afternoon mfers. Back in the shop on a weekend after three out of it. Then off tomorrow. I nailed the bluegills on the beds Tuesday night. Fried some of those last night. Gramps said you can't have the fish without fried taters and corn. Today I'm going to try some burgers on the smoker. A friend said he's become addicted, and this friend is rarely wrong. If they thawed there will be some wings on there as well. No work tomorrow, so we're doubling down on the WSM with a rack of back ribs and a whole chicken. Short week this week before a couple grad parties mixed with some nights in the cabin next weekend. Hard to complain.

To each there own I guess. Live in shorts all summer ( other than work) hour and a half in the sun with long pants and long sleeve shirt damn near wipes me out for the rest of the day. Need to do it with flying debris from the trimmer but I hate it.

The urge to smoke will be around for about a year then you can just ignore it.
Stay strong, just look at it as a competition that you are going to win because you are a stubborn badass.
