Morning guys. Looks as if these design engineers are drinking the same stale beer. Going back to squared off high side bodies.
Damn sure can't tell much difference between the
Wagoneers, Suburbans, or Expeditions. WTH??

Weather in parts of the US must be nasty, received notice from a supplier that both their Ohio and PA warehouses would be closed tomorrow because of weather.
Looks like some severe weather out of the gulf coast on the weather map.

Was sunny here and 18C earlier, warmest day yet. cooling down with some rain moving in soon. Glad we aren't having a storm like GC is having.

Great nephews place
But the Department of environmental protection
Shut down some of the property.
There's a old gas well leaking poison
Such as arsenic and methane I don't know how much.
They making the well company owner
To build a road and permanently cap the well.
We cut some roads in and are grading some land off.View attachment 333380
Picked this up yesterday there's a 50.00 rebate from smith.View attachment 333381

Ticks are already out my neighbor pulled 5 off him already
They are going to be bad this year.
Must be his cattle bringing them in
The cats haven't had any.

I bought one of those for my daughter before she went off to grad school. We both shot it on my range, I must say they definitely improved the trigger over the original M&P, not that they are bad. I tried to like the single stack shield, but just couldn't.

I traded my M&P Shield 2.0 in and got the G19 Gen5

I like the gen5 g19 just fine, but coming from a state that it wasn't 0n the roster, meant I invested in the S&W M&P line. Which was.

How do you like that smith vs. a regular shield?

You have to try them, feels totally different in the hand, with just about double the capacity. I would rather a snubby if limited to the round count of the original shield, but I like a DA trigger. You really can't go wrong with any of the smaller 9's, as long as it matches the capacity you feel comfortable with.

Yeah, mine was a single stack .40. They offered me $250 for it so i figured i had better take it. So i got the g19 for $275 with the trade in.

For some reason, the Glocks are considerably more expensive than the Smiths, at least around here. Seems like a hundred dollars difference. Either way, you did good for essentially $525. I think they are around $625 here.

It was $75 off for a Glock Days event the gun shop/range was hosting.

My wife has a shield 2.0, and I like that gun, but I have been curious about the plus version. Might have to pick one up.

So just for giggles, I went to rkguns and had a look. They have g19 gen5 for $549 and the M&P 2.0 compact or fullsize for $547. So no difference at all.

I think you will like the plus. Feels a lot thinner than the 9c, with the same capacity. While the 9c trigger isn't as good out of the box, it smooths out with use. We're I in the market now, I would get the plus, but the 9c can use my 9 fullsize mags, and I have quite a few of those.

Well so far this storm has been a bit of a let down. So much for the worst storm in decades, not even the worst so far.

Cleaned the drive around 3 and no further accumulation since. So unless it really ramps up again overnight…
