Yes 10 hour days are the norm during the week. If we get a Saturday a month off it's a surprise. Last Sunday was the first I'd worked in a few months but things are ramping back up.

I gave up working on weekends years ago to old for that chit

Thanks Todd I hope yours was good. They announced more raises this morning and all hours after 50 are double time now. That's nice but I'm afraid it just emboldens them to work us more hours. Have a good evening.

All the places like mine in our area are scrambling for help. We work too much and it's too hot in here so they throw money at people to get/keep them. Here soon the incentive to not work is going to disappear so I'm sure they're all aligning themselves to try and scoop up as many "re-enterers to the work force" as possible.

Burned a couple of coupons at BK a little while ago after work…three whoppers, three cheeseburgers, three small fries with the $12.99 family meal coupon, and two original chicken sandwiches and two small fries with the $4.99 chicken sammie deal coupon. $19.24 tax and all and out dat drive-thru I went.

He was in the shop before he got moved to management. He was the biggest hack I had ever seen work on cars yet somehow had a local reputation as being a great tech.
