See the chains in the back of the truck? Yeah that's when you are clearing storm blow down oak on asphalt and you just know your 28 inch bar will make a one side cut through. Dam thing isn't coming loose wtf.. let me cut a little further down little left on the bottom. Looks down sees sparks shakes head.

No meat on the legs from what I've seen...

Thats where all the meat is
Had one get loose from somewhere, traffic hazard
Called sheriff and he said I could shoot it
So we butcher it
12# drum sticks and that’s about it, with no wings no breast meat
Nasty [emoji1785]

Think my best find is on my other phone I'll post a pic asap though.
My bestest find is on here, somewhere. Maybe it will pop up.

60+ pounds of Chicken of The Woods.... last fall. One big fat red oak stump cut in the spring for lot clearing. Might have snagged 15 of Hen. They were unreal in flavor and aroma. Froze a bunch. Still working with it. Oysters in the iron now... eggs next. Then I'm off to the pines.... time to test and kill oak.
Shakedown breakdown... hunt shrooms spots for mycelium.... pretty easy to find when your creating them. Mycelium transplants... while tapping a few maples... check the splated logs and lunch later at Pics. Come home and find me some blue liberty spores. I have ten pounds of Lions Mane ready to bust up and start making up some fresh chip food and get them in the crawl space.

Nothing like walking the woods to clear your head. Finding a little snackie is a bonus.

I'm going with rabid dogs. Or he was a very small guy. Storys like this caused the wolf to disappear pretty quick. Coyotes is some nasty mfers indeed. They brought them back here. South of us they kill livestock, small deer and pets. A hungry one would be dicey to deal with. Rabid....worse. Go for for the eyes, nuts or throat might give one pause. Break that tail off will change some minds.

Damn mangy mfers are everywhere here.
They are all over here too.
You get one chance to shoot them, they are pretty smart.
They have taken out all the fox around the farm which pisses me off.
I enjoy watching fox hunt field mice along the field edge after i disc harrow .
