Probably but the Aussie peso exchange rate and postage brings the prices closer together. It was great a few of years ago when the Aussie dollar was equal to or higher than the USD at the moment our dollar only buys 68 us cents and then my Government charges me 10% of the transaction just for good measure.

Go on a vacation to Bali, buy cheap saws and ship them home. You won't be the first... Check with @Stihl working Hard Todd is from Perth but has many non Aussie saws.

I haven't even run the 372 Xtorq but i do have one in a box. I rarely even run my regular 372 XPs, just once in a while to keep them lubed up, my 2005 World Champion addition is mostly retired.

The field inventory on 372's is starting to dry up now. Getting calls from further out. Down to a dozen I think. Seems like we ought to mark the occasion somehow when the last one goes. The way we think here at the store I'm sure it will be food oriented. It calls for an after hours toast of some kind too. Not just a bottle of beer. Gotta order something nice like a Manhattan or Old Fashioned; something that you don't make at home. :)

@Spike60 I read through the thread, but still a little confused - Are 372 XPW factory cylinders/pistons available?? My 372XPW is my go to saw, and would prefer to plan for the future as opposed to scrambling to get a cylinder when i need one.

No, the 51.4mm XPW kits are NLA from Husky. They are superseding them up to the single ring 50mm 371 kit for now. Like I've been warning everyone, be careful ordering them from places that claim they can still get them and aren't aware of what's going on. Unless they have them on hand, you can end up with the wrong part.

Got one in mind? Can't think of any, but I'll bet vodka is the main ingredient. @Tor R, what's a good Scandinavian drink? Something that doesn't require flying over there for something that's hard to find.
