FOUND IT WTB Echo Short Block #SB-1069

Wanting to keep the rebuild as cheap as possible as I am giving this saw away when it is finished. Took a chance on a CL saw that I didn't have opportunity to pull muffler off of before buying.

Looking for an Echo Short Block for CS 340. Anyone got a good one laying around in their boneyard? 340, 341, 345 and 346 will also work I believe.

If you don't have a used assembly, where do you recommend buying a new short block assembly from?

Da. I can find them a bit cheaper, but would prefer a good deal on a used unit. I knew there'd be piston cyl issues when I bought it, but it is too far gone. Amazingly to me though, it did start and sputter a bit even with a deeply gouged cyl wall. Figured I'd be dealing with a little transfer and a new piston/crank. If I end up scrapping the project, at least I can use some of the parts on my trusty old CS3400.
