I learned about them from loggers, only one that leeps your feet dry all day in the rain without soaking throughYup. Got it. I really like Danner. I have worn them for years. I was a little hesitant to buy them for a logging boot though. I don't know why.
The last pair of wolverines I had I wore one 5 week job and they were stretched and so uncomfortable I threw them away. These thorogood are the only ones I've had in years besides red wings that didn't suck.
I go outta my way for smooth ones as I always find mud and if you have cleats it sticks and you track it everywhere This is the boot I've been running for years. It is not red wing now it's Irish setter by redwing. The one with the old red wing name held up better I wanna see if they still offer it. Those boots are 140 at full price. I'd recommend themI did pick up a new pair of Whites for $100.
troof.I wasn't impressed with Danner at all. I bought a pair of composite toed a couple years back for work. In 6 months they had a dime sized hole in the toe completely through the leather. They were very comfortable but was very disappointed in the leather being so soft. I've had my Red Wings for a year and half with no issues.
I agree. Those boots are a cheaper style that they tried coming out with. The Arcadia and Ft Lewis names are their signature boots.I wasn't impressed with Danner at all.
