I was thinking maybe some of them might be a plastic mesh like they have in some oil filters.
Yeah, I have the Husqvarna helmet/faceshield/ear muffs combo and mine is the plastic. I do get the same issue with driving into the sun, but its going to be bright anyway driving into the sun. But the plastic mesh has worked great for three years now.

If you have a plastic one, let me know because I want one.
Saw your post after I posted my last one. I have the plastic shield and it works great. I use it in conjunction with safety glasses - every time something bounces off of the face shield I think "thank goodness"!!! I think this setup was about $60.

Just to update this thread again, I've been using the Pyramex shield and making sure the clear visor touches my chest.

The NoCry shield is lighter and more comfortable, but I can't use it for string trimming because it has no tilt stop adjustment.

A lot of the debris flies straight upwards and will go under a visor if the visor is not touching your chest.

I will use the Pyramex for now, but I'm looking for a more comfortable face shield with a tilt stop adjustment.
