I thought about that .I may mount up a wire brush on my side grinder first to test .This is Berea white stone which is a harder grade of sand stone .
The way it is now I just squirt it with Round Up then 4-5 days later cut them off with nylon blades with the weed wacker .It's a never ending job .The cracks are filled with limestone grit and the weeds just love it .
On top of that Ohio has a relatively high humidity in this area .Sandstone seems a great place for moss to grow .So it's a couple times a year with a power washer .Another never ending job ,interrupts my beer drinking time .

Hmm. A "beer hat" or just go all fancy like and get some boxed wine.
Bungie a cooler on board to hold the wine.
A few feet of fuel line (ethanol rated of course! just keep the wine below that rated 10%) for a sipping tube.
Add a clothes pin to hold the hose on your shirt collar and you're good to go.

Ya Al listen to the guys. Old sayin where there is a will there is a way. If ya just have to be drinking mount a cooler up on the roll bar fill with slushy beer and run a tube down to the drivers seat and make sure you are buckled in so youwon't fall off.

This is 5 gallons that should last while running the Z turn.

As far as the original question.......what about a lawn torch? I can tidy up the brick patio pretty quick with one.
