Whats the cure....?

For this. Got an HDA 120 rhats got the plastic elbow for the fuel inlet gone. The brass fitting that goes in the carb body has serrated edges that go into the carb body possibly making twisting it impossible. Anybody ever replace this brass piece? Heat?

I know Husky sells it as a replaceable part.

Those are normally pressed in. You can get a socket that sits over it and run a wood screw down in it and use the socket as a a spacer to pull it

What do you use to actually pull it?

As you screw the wood screw down the head will hit the socket and make it work as a puller. I just run it down with a screwdriver by hand

Tom - I think you can just get a replacement elbow that snaps on there, without having to replace the brass piece.

I called Walbro about that and he said he would get with engineering about that. Never heard back from him. That would be nice. The 120 ipl that comes with the 262 ipl shows it all as 1 piece.

I just did this on my snowblower.
I tapped the fitting for a small bolt. Put socket on for spacer but a nut on the one end of socket to turn in and pull fitting out.

Well, I tried the wood screw, socket method. The wood screw broke off inside the brass fitting. So muchfor QC. So I grabbed a mini vise grip, turned, and pulled. It came out.
