I like 272's. My dad bought one to replace his Husky 77. He used it for many years and gave it to me a couple years back. I have won several races in the stock classes with that saw. I'd be interested to see how they are ported. How do they stack up against a ported 372?

Remember a 272 is a two port saw against a four port saw and the 372 has a much smoother intake port shape.

372 has more stroke as well and seems to have a broader torque output.

I happen to know where a nice ongoing 272 build thread is ;)

Almost done as a matter of fact. As good or better than a thread I could do.

Once that saw shows up, I plan on doing a comparison thread. 272 vs ported272 vs ported 371. 24" and 32"
