What is s this on carb

Is this some type of governed deal? If so best way to disable? WS10 carb on partner S55

The tune seems way off ether to rich or lean so I suspect this

Make a disc of fuel proof gasket material with a paper hole puncher. Drop it in and screw the brass gadget back in.[emoji108]

That`s the speed governor. If it is malfunction the spring inside opens the ball and hole at a to low speed it will flood the engine. The suggestion in the post above will fix that problem.

Perfect I cut just piece of gorilla tape and put the it over the end. I'll do the gasket as a permanent solution. I do have a leather hole puncher. Great idea! Thanks guys

An appropriately-sized welch plug works as well. I had the same deal on my P100's.
