I think we talked about this handle before? It resembles an aftermarket handle I've seen for some of the Poulans
before but I think someone cut the strut short. Can you tell if it's been cut?

Poulan was a thought of mine as well, it doesn’t appear to be cut, if it was it was a hell of a nice job at making it look original. Then it still leaves me wondering what it was put on

Too short for a 288 (which is the most common chassis I see these wraps on) and all other Husky’s, wrong shape for 056, not any other Stihl I can think of, the ribs facing in makes me think it’s for a plastic-tank saw, maybe late-model big Homelite/Poulan?

Handlebar grip isn’t hard it’s slightly squishy like an old homelite or poulan

Pretty sure that there was cut off saw versions of that Homelite also.

Looks like a old Baileys or Madsen aftermarket. But I think bailey's. Like my friends used to run.. could even be 038 044 I pulled one of a early 038 mag, and it fit on my early 044. It could be for a 266 even
