The container lookin thing was a climate controlled electrical room. This crane was fabricated in Texas and hauled to Minnesota where I put it together and installed

Maybe now I can clean out the wood shed and fill it with fire wood. Each side should last one year. Each on holds about six cords.

4200’ pull of drainage blanket on top of 7 miles of rock roadbed interstate highway. I told my Asphalt foreman that he had no idea how glad I was to see him back out.

Back to a little bit of what I do best. 6” water line. 6 days of hammering rock (with a big hammer) and digging out for five hours worth of laying pipe and bolting up fittings… Yeesh. It also turns out that after two years off I can still slam home that 6” C900 with my (gloved) hands.

I know this is a dead old thread, but I'm new...well...new-ish around here and figured I'd jump in here a little bit.
I'm a 38 year old carpentry lead man. I've been building for almost years. The things I've learn and how quickly your expected to learn things is amazing. From no knowledge, to being production and quality minded and expected to be a leader within 10 years, what an amazing industry.
Anyway we do mostly custom builds. Anything from log cabins, to vacation homes, to barns. We do every aspect of the builds ourselves except milling the logs for cabins and shingle roof. Everything else we do.
