I picked up a Jonsereds 50 today without a bar/chain. I was hoping to put on what I thought was a 15” .325 bar and chain I had hanging on the wall. It turns out the 50 has a 3/8” rim on it and the bar I have is 3/8” and the chain is .325. It a a mess :)

So I figure I’ll get a new chain for the bar I have but I’m not sure what size exactly to get. The bar is a Tilton Super Bar p/n 78486 the only other markings on the bar are t1063.

Can anyone help me out?32B3344B-5E16-4CA5-8C57-0B195896C4C8.jpeg7069E97F-E350-439E-81CC-5EF52ADCFD47.jpegB0429BCE-31C1-45C4-8C4E-5772C6BD39F4.jpeg43D16BAB-2A88-4567-9B2F-A343A0E8D7B6.jpeg

Typical 16” 3/8 chain is 60 dl. Pretty common. I would start there and you may have to have a few links removed. Some Homelites use 59 on a 16” some will tighten a 60 others won’t.

That bar is a different style mount. Hard to draw comparisons. I would mount the 16 chain that you have and do some counting on how many links need to be removed

Thanks, just tried it. Looks like 56DL will work, 55DL might be too small.
