I might have to give them a try - they sound over built and also a little more forgiving. The WCS 3 pts are nice, but very aggressive. I also have to hold back when starting into a cut.
They are slightly smaller than WCS but bigger than stock.

I think he said they were made out of ar500 steel. They make dozer blades out of the stuff.

I left mine raw haven’t seen any rust but it’s only been a few months.

The ar 400 and 500 are a fairly hard and wear resistant plate, it is strong but also slightly brittle probably will never bend one but if you did it may snap if you try to bend back cold. But if you use heat on it you will take the hardness out also. But if you bend or break it odds are your saw will have more issues than bent spikes.

The WCS 3pt spikes bend all the time. I bend them back cold, with a vise grips. I’m not real thrilled about how easy they bend.
Probably made out of a-36 which is just a standard grade mile steel and if it’s just made out of 10 gauge or so I can see why the long spikes would be easy to bend.

You should test the difference between them.
The ar 500 may or may not hit 500 burnell depending on who made the plate. A lot only needs to hit 500 in a few places on each sheet to be sold as 500. Odds are it will hit 350-400 at least though
