Walbro rotary valve carbs

I am working on my echo PB 8010. It has a walbro WYAB 1 carb. Is the low speed adjustment screw up top down threw the throttle shaft? And the high speed on the side near the fuel inlet nipple? Maybe i got it backwards. I know they are both the small d.

So after doing a bit more reading. They are micro d on the head of the adjustment screw. The low speed is in the center of the rotor threw the brass hole. Thus making the high speed down by the fuel inlet nipple.

Correct, I’ve also seen them with 2.5 limiter caps and I have also seen Micro pac man which still haven’t found a adjustment screwdriver that’s works

I can usually find something to use as a tool. I've used the plastic back of an electrical connector for some. For those that don't allow much room, a reshaped crimp end of an electrical spade. Make sure that you cuss many times while challenging yourself with this task.

I actually have one of those. Bought most of echo carb adjustment tools when I was hunting the correct adjustment tool for the 7310. Which I still have not found yet.

I personally just went a set 2 cycle carburetor adjustment tools from Amazon but I was needing the A circle one here. But I use the micro D and the 2.5 limiter tools mostly on the Echos.

I just wish they stop making many different security screws. Since I also work 4 cycles I have ran into a larger D adjustment that the large D from the 2 cycle is too small to fit. Working finding that tool when I think of it.

I just got my 91159L yesterday. I knew of the jet near fuel inlet, no idea about the top plate one!

Bumping this up.

While running wide open, the jet by fuel inlet has no effect. Only the top plate jet will change the way blower runs. can get it running good at WOT, then let off and it dies, probably due to too much fuel on the low side.

Any ideas?
