Utterly perplexed on 394/5 clutch cover issue

So a 2094 brake spring is what I need?

What about the spring cover?? Is that NLA? Looking at it I think I might be able to modify the longer cover to work.

Funny thing is that the new cover I got was advertised as for a 395. But I'm not calling foul on the seller for this, as I myself had no idea about all of these different versions, how confusing it is, and the fact that Husqvarna parts diagrams are of no help at all in this case.

I'm sure the seller had no idea. Unless you work on these saws regularly, you're not going to know the differences of the parts. It's just like working on dirt bikes from the 80's- there were so many changes that the layman isn't going to have any idea.
