Lets just say you traveled out there and went to court and the judge ruled 100% in your favor and ordered restitution, there isn't not one damn thing on this earth the court can do to enforce it. You could literally be right back at square one.

Not sure how it works in Oregon.... some states allow out of state plaintiffs to file and not have to appear. Heck if a defendant Wont get to the PO to ship a package they might not even find it important enough to go in order to respond and the plantif could receive a summary judgement.

Just dropping options.
Oregon does allow a defendant to collect by means of having the sheriff retrieve the personal property as well if a judgement happens to be awarded.

Yes he has been asked in the past how much was owed. He said he only needed money for shipping.
On the other saw he said it would be shipped out within two days and it has yet to make it to a parcel carrier service to the best of anyone’s knowledge.

I texted Jim a couple days ago and asked if I owed him money for parts... he told me it wasn’t my saw that he was talking about. Our conversation went well and he was fine with me picking up my saw in person.
