Hey Bub, not to take away from your thread.... this is what I pulled out of my chainsaw Jim 361 finally this morning. With new rings put on it! Lol.

Didn’t say a word to me when we discussed me replacing piston instead of sending the saw back to him that he had ground the skirts.

Here’s the sad part of this whole affair here with Jimbo and I’m sure this is exactly how it’ll play out...my son will never see this saw, nor will I. Everyone knows I was going to gift this saw to my Navy F/A-18 son when he comes home next month.

Asswhipe ended up with a donor saw from TreeLife, the ProMac-700 to build off of. If memory serves me correct, cowboy Jim put $75 bucks and traded some saws, I think is what he said, for the cylinder/piston deal. Other folks in here contributed parts, etc for the restore/build-up. Then he started with the oiler problem, and the supposed coil problem.

SOB probably ain’t even got the saw anymore...selling *s-wordt to cover previous saws and builds, and lying like a rug to other mf’rs...or if he still has it, he’s got nothing but little money in it, to keep.

Here’s a spin on the whole deal...

Several members here have contacted me with saws to cough up. Here’s a ProMac-700, still in the box it was shipped in. I appreciate all the concern in this...but I ain’t gonna unbox this ProMac-700 powerhead. I’m gonna send it back where it came from. Two great folks in here collaborated on this, and I appreciate the thought, don’t get me wrong.

I want my mf’ng saw from Jim, so I can give it to my son. Jim builds great saws...I just want this mf’ng saw. And I want him to be a f’ng man about this and send the God Damn saw!

Im not good with writing feelings and such so bear with me.

I too take too much pride in what i do and the choices i make to keep my family happy and supply them with what they need and alot of what they want. If something goes south, be that financial or circumstance, i do what has to be done. I dont cry for someone to throw me a line. Its my problem, not ours.

However i have been blessed a time or two from anonymous people in rough times. The worst part is no one to thank for unprovoked kindness. I used the gifts for the intended purpose to honor the wishes. But it still felt wrong. What i took from those experiences is a willingness to "pass it on" when good people get more than a fair share of chit.

We are lucky to have such a caring community and respect for one another here on OPE. This is the only forum in 15 years ive been doing message boards that i feel a family member. Not just a username floating around.

So to all that have offered help, here and other places,

Someone is going to have to physically go there and pick Jason's and Clint's saws up. I'd recommend bringing the cops.

I almost got up this morning and drove up there. If those saws don’t get sent out real soon, I will go and physically get them from him. My only dilemma is that I don’t want to drive 5 hrs. each way and have him refuse to give me the saws, and I think that is a real possibility. Having dealt with law enforcement on this sort of thing in the past, I believe they will say it’s a civil matter, and refuse to intervene.

I texted him about a tracking number and he didn’t seem real eager to send the saws, and (he says) it’s because he’s upset about people posting negative stuff on here and his YouTube, and harassing him. I don’t feel as though I’ve done anything to warrant that from him, but he’s decided to lump me in with the “lynch mob” (as he calls it)...

Again, I’ve been patient and given him a lot of freedom to build my saw (and run his business) in the timetable and manner that he sees fit, but now I’m just ready to get it back. My saw has literally been in his possession since April of 2018.
