I can use this on a 362 salvage project. I’ll send a pm.I'm selling a used Bark Box for a Stihl 400c. I'm asking $40 plus shipping.
I’m sure you could sell it on here.I have one off my MM 500i...bids?
Too damn loud...pulled it.
I remember when the young folks would say "if it is too loud you are too old"I have one off my MM 500i...bids?

I ran it for one log worth of oak. A guy, 2 blocks down stopped and asked, what the hell kind of saw I was running, lolI remember when the young folks would say "if it is too loud you are too old"
They have hearing aids now....
My only saw with a bark box on it is a 500i. I'm pretty sure my 550 and 346 are just as loud or louder. When I'm helping do storm cleanup, folks disappear rather quick and then return with ear protection. I suppose this could be a point of frustration for some, but even "quiet" saws are too loud to be operating without ear protection. Unless it is a small job, I always use foam plugs plus the ear muffs on my headgear.I ran it for one log worth of oak. I needed ear plugs, along with my Stihl headgear
If someone has a goal of having a loud saw, try out an Egan straight shot.....those things will rattle your teeth.
That was thing is so loud. The video does not do this thing justice in regards to how loud it is but is it damn load. This video was taken in 2008. That was the summer I was near totally blind and barely navigated. The doctors got my right eye back working a bit right before the Baraboo show. My wife was pissed I still was going to run saws but she helped load and drive the truck.
