What do you guys think of them? Looking to replace my 525 with a 540.

Stihl let their dealers know that mtrons would not be orderable at the sales meeting a month or so ago. May have something to do with Husky not listing them online. I'm sure they both have the same supply chain issues. What do you guys think of them? Looking to replace my 525 with a 540.
Thx for the feedback. I do remember the first gen t handle auto tunes were also poorly received. The 540 is not a well liked saw among climbers. For every climber I’ve heard say good about them I’ve heard 2 curse them.

just want a bit more power than the 525 offers. It goes in the quad back seat storage area nicely. Also just want to buy something new is really what’s going on here lol. maybe I’ll see if the 562 will fit in the back without a bar…
I asked my dealer about this today…he said some components that both Stihl & Husky were using are sourced from Ukraine. If that is actually true, that is unfortunate.Stihl let their dealers know that mtrons would not be orderable at the sales meeting a month or so ago. I saw a Stihl bulletin that said their wiring harnesses that were made in Ukraine and there would be a delay in receiving them, so dealers need to only order the carbed variants. Idk what part of the huskies are Ukrainian made, though.I asked my dealer about this today…he said some components that both Stihl & Husky were using are sourced from Ukraine.
