For your consideration is a TM'd ported 066 with about 1/2 hour on it. The compression is about 180# and I didn't have the compression tester down real tight so it might go higher. It probably will with more break in time too.image.jpeg image.jpeg Was in a rush so I didn't have a chance to take the top cover off. Anyway, its not minty but its not in bad shape anyway, I'd say very good shape. Everything functions as it should and is present on the saw. PHO so you can put whatever type of bar you want on it. If you want the bar its a 3/8 .050 Total L&T bar, just say so and we'll discuss price. I'm asking $800 plus the ride. Questions always welcome. Thanks alot for looking!

You got a pic of it. All the link gets me to is a homelite. If I like what I see I think you've got a deal.

Sorry the link wasn't doing copy/paste for me, probably user error. If you go to arborist site and search the for sale section for 288xp 1/2 wrap. I'll get pics up here later tonight. What do you want for the bar?

Here are the pics from the ad I bought it in. It has some time on it, production 1999. Seller says last winter he put in a new piston ring, bearings, seals, gaskets and plug and put it on the shelf. What he didn't mention is that the chain brake band was busted and it had an aftermarket brake handle that came too close to the handlebar once I took it to get fixed. I put $40 into getting it safe with working brake and proper oem brake handle, and tuned the carb up. Guy suggested running it 40:1 to let the ring break in.

I'm taking a loss here, I paid $325 plus shipping and then the repairs but dag-nab-it I shouldn't have been pinching pennies. I want a real ripper!
