I'm going through an 044. It's a 10mm wrist pin slant fin jug. I'm going through it now; will get an NOS piston, dual port muffler with gutted baffle, base gasket delete (assuming squish works out).

Have a pencil grinder and was thinking about doing some light work on it. Any tips on some basic porting? Widening the exhaust port a bit?

Thanks,

Scott

CFB was very helpful when I ported my 036.

Already did the dual port and have the flat muffler cover.

Thanks

That a really nice looking 10mm slant fin!
My suggestion would be to find another readily available jug to do some learning on before grinding on a harder to find jug.
There’s a really big learning curve to even basic porting and a few wrong moves with a grinder and you got a turd...
