I watched a rental company repair man use a turkey baster to remove gas from a hydraulic reservoir on a boom lift after the bosses son dumped 5 gallons of gas in it.

Yeah,the bigger one that uses the surgical tubing. It was on a yearling Boar goat. Nice clean job but it put him in a state of depression. Neighbor uses it on grass fed weaners. 20-30 at a time no worries.
