I threw some upgrades on the 7300 today. I'll get pics up later. HD filter kit, new AV springs, dogs, stihl roller catch.

Need to go through the oil pump and replace the oil lines still. I'll probably do it tonight.

I also want a 20" bar for this, not sure what to get... what do you guys think?

Dolmar PS-550, tuned to 13k WOT no load
18" 3/8" .058" B&C setup, Oregon LGX round filed chisel tooth.

Wilhelm.
I notice you have been looking into 3/8 lp as a option for the Ps-550, but would you consider going to .325 x 1.5mm or even .325 1.3mm using a 7 DL rim drive? You should feel a difference going from full size 3/8. I like .325 chain on that saws power output better than full 3/8 .

I have a .325" small spline sprocket, but no bar nor chain and I don't intend to acquire any soon.

I am only looking for a 3/8" LowProfile sprocket in order to utilize and try a PowerSharp B&C that I already own.
Generally the Dolmar PS-550 has enough grunt to pull a full sized 3/8" loop through knotty oak.

Hello everybody,

let me introduce myself into this remarkable thread, which for whatever
reasons has little to none german members so far.

So I am german and live in the vicinities of Dolmar City,
about 30 km south of Hamburg, where the Dolmars come from.

I'm hobbyist firewood logger and started collecting Dolmar saws
a few years ago. I'd rather collect Porsche 914 cars (of which I own
at least one), but there are financial limitations as well as space
considerations which prevent me from doing so.
So there are Dolmar saws instead, they are much cheaper and consume remarkably less space.

Nuff said.
Here are some of may ladies:
