I got another mowing account and this older lady gave me a redmax trimmer she said it last used 2-3 years ago and it was to hard for her to start it had stale mix in it but did run just wouldn't rev.
Dumped the stale mix and put fresh in it with a glug of berryman b12 and with in 10 minutes it was running much better still needs a air filter and maybe a little tuning on the carb. pretty nice trimmer to be 8yrs old.

Sweet score! Great lil trimmer there. Even came with the best trimmer head going IMHO. Love the husqvarna t-35 heads. Run them on all my Trimmers. They feed very reliably, and hold more string than anything else going. Beware however, they are a bit... Delicate. The blue button wears out quickly if you bump it on anything but grass. Last for years if you only bump them on grass (or something soft) though. The speed feed heads that so many others like only hold about half as much string. Not an issue for almost homeowners, but a real asset on huge jobs with lots of chainlink fence or retaining walls. That wee lil 22 cc motor has some grunt for a featherweight. Plenty for regular trimming duty. That was the first Redmax I ran and sold me on the line. Been running them commercially for.. Well, a long dang time.

Currently in my Redmax corral I have a bcz2401s 24.5cc, a bcz2500s 25.5cc, and a 3060ts 29cc.

I'll say this, with a minimum of care, they just keep running. Doubt you could wear one out in a residential setting in a lifetime.

That's a model I was looking at when b4 I was able to score my 323L. Was wanting something lighter than the 250R for gen trimming.

i use this trimmer for all my trimming because i don't let the weeds get to bad that i need a big heavy powerful trimmer to do the job.
i love this trimmer light weight and powerful and full of zip. though the fuel lines are showing there age and need changed the unit is 8 yrs old.

Speed feed 450 holds about 20 feet, the T-35 holds about 30. Both are fine heads. I appreciate the capacity of the T-35. Nothing else holds as much, feeds as reliably and weighs so little. That adds up to a unit that maintains exceptional throttle response and holds enough line for most any job... Except cemetery's, gotta keep an extra length of line in your pocket. Don't know how trimmers know, but they always run out as far as possible from your truck... Always.
