I have all my dad's tools. One of them is this IR electric impact wrench. I was eight or ten when mom and dad discussed buying it during supper one evening. It probably cost a weeks take home pay back then, mid '50s.

Dad worked at an Oldsmobile agency and figured it would cut 'flat rate time' for most jobs.

Every time I use it and the others I always say 'thanks dad'.
It looks like you may already have, but be sure to keep a good cord on that thing. My dad gave me his old metal cased gear driven 1/2" power drill. First time I went to use it I got the *s-word shocked out of me. Cord looked good but there was a tiny spot rubbed through right where it went into the housing.

My dad is 61 this year, while I still have him I am thankful for that everyday. Even though his age is catching up and he's not the big strong man physically I will always remember him as his mind is still clear as a bell and I can't imagine life without him.
