Surface rust-- rims, clutches, drums

Thoughts on selling/running items with surface rust? A few of a parts lot I just grabbed must have been exposed to moisture. Some are great, others are rusty crusty.

Mainly clutch drums and rim sprockets.

Describe them accurately and you shouldn't have a problem. Trying to
clean the rust off drums and rims to make them easier to sell wouldn't
be worth the effort.

My thoughts as well. I'd run them, but wouldn't try to cover up what they are by cleaning them up. Thanks
