Going to let go of the beast. $1200 plus ride.
I hadn’t run it for a few years. After it sits for an extended time oil gets past the check valve in the oil pump and puts oil in crankcase. Fuel tank is seeping fuel and previous owner tried JB weld on it. This will need addressed. I had bought a tank sealant kit to coat inside of tank and never got around to doing that. Others here have addressed the issue as it doesn’t seem uncommon.
Started it this evening. Primed it with some fuel and it started and idled fine.
Has the fully adjustable carburetor. It had the fixed jet carb when I bought it. It appears to be a relatively low hour saw and would be if it lived it’s life in Iowa.
Compression test was taken after it had been running so I would expect cold compression to be higher.
I don’t the pictured is a hard nose mcculloch bar I think is around 25”. With .404 chipper chain. I’ll get that later tonight on here in couple days.
